The dwMap app on your watch has a menu of important options that you may wish to adjust during your activity. These options are explained in more detail in their relevant sections of this Help Center, but are summarized here.
Besides these options available on the dwMap app menu there are several other options for dwMap are set on your https://dynamic.watch/me home page, and sync'ed down to the watch each time you start dwMap (or when you use the Refresh menu option).

Menu Options (Free and Premium dwMap)
- Refresh
This downloads your current active route and settings from your https://dynamic.watch/me account. dwMap does this automatically each time you start it, but Refresh is useful when you change your route or settings on the website during your activity (which is easy to do using your phone's browser). This is especially useful if you want to change your custom data fields mid-activity (if you have dwMap Premium). - Delete Route
Deletes the current active route from dwMap. Useful if you want to use the app without a preplanned route. You can later use Refresh (or restart dwMap) to download a new route. See Using dwMap without a current active route. - Lock Stop Btn
Locks the Stop button so you do not accidentally press it during your activity. See Lock Stop Button.
Menu Options (Premium dwMap only)
The following options appear on the menu after you have upgraded to dwMap Premium:
- Go To
Lets you choose whether to use your current route for turn-by-turn and off-route navigation, navigate in a straight line ("as the crow flies") to your start or end point, or navigate to a waypoint (perhaps for geocaching). See dwMap Navigation Page. - Show/Hide Maps
Show the detailed background maps. An exciting feature of dwMap Premium is being able to view detailed road/trail maps behind your route line. This option turns them on and off. See dwMap Background Maps.
Note since this menu option is an "action" to take, when the maps are currently enabled the menu option will say Hide Maps. Also note a few older watches do not support background maps. See the current list of supported watches. - Show/Hide NavPrmpt
When using turn-by-turn navigation along a route, turn on or off the beeps and/or vibrations that the watch makes to warm you of a coming turn. See dwMap Turn and Off-Route Notifications. - Show/Hide OffRoute
When using turn-by-turn navigation along a route, turn on or off the beeps and/or vibrations that the watch makes to warm you when you go off-course from your planned route or come back onto it. See dwMap Turn and Off-Route Notifications.
