GraphHopper Cycling, MTB and Hiking Routes

The dynamicWatch Route Planner brings our dynamicWatch Premium users four additional options for automatically creating routes. These use the  service to offer additional options for cycling, hiking and mountain biking. GraphHopper uses the comprehensive worldwide OpenStreetMap database of paved roads, unpaved roads and paths to create the best routes specifically for those activities, as well as having comprehensive road data. Just click on two points on the map in our Planner and the best route between them is instantly calculated.

The Graphhopper options are:

• Touring Cycling: Quieter roads, fewer hills, less direct routing.
• Fast Cycling: Busier, more direct roads with no concern for hills.
• Mountain Bike: Unpaved roads and paths where possible.
• Hiking: Paths wherever possible.

Premium also offers Google's cycling and walking routes.

In addition, Premium users in or visiting the UK can choose to view their familiar Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 Explorer and 1:50,000 Landranger maps. Learn more

All this can be done from your phone or tablet just as easily as on your computer, and our dwMap and routeCourse app on your Garmin watch or Edge cycling GPS will download the new route automatically and wirelessly.
